  • Check-in time is from 2pm. If you arrive earlier than this, we may not have your room ready, but we can still host you in our shared spaces, such as our lounge or library.

    Check out time is 10 am. We can store your luggage and still host you in our shared spaces after this time though if you still want to explore the area. Subject to availbility and notice, we may be able to offer an extension to the check out time. Please enquire with our friendly team at the time of reservation or when you arrive at the lodge.

  • As a small business, any cancellations greatly affect our operations, and we ask you to be aware of this when you make a reservation.

    We can currently organise transfers from Moana and Greymouth Train Stations.

  • Yes, we have parking available in a shared car park.

  • Lake Brunner Eco Lodge is a licensed restaurant and has a range of wines, beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages available.

    Our license prohibits our guests from bringing their own alcohol.

  • Yes, you can charge your electronic devices at any time. (Please let us know if you’re going to be using over 1000W at any time).

    We are completely off-grid, and there are times when our power generation may be low. When this happens, our backup generator will take over and power the lodge. If this needs to happen, it will take about 30 seconds for us to switch from our hydro system to our backup generator.

    All our power is 240V, and we have standard NZ power sockets located beside all beds and in bathrooms.

  • Lake Brunner Eco Lodge is for guests aged 15 and over only.

    However, children are welcome to stay in the lodge with exclusive-use bookings.

  • Our lodge is surrounded by a native reserve and is home to protected flora and fauna of New Zealand, therefore, we cannot accept pets at the lodge.

  • Absolutely. Please notify us prior to your arrival of any dietary requirements and we can prepare a menu that caters for you.

  • No, we have purposefully not installed tvs in the guest rooms to give people time to reconnect with themselves, others and nature.

  • The Lodge enjoys mild temperatures and high sunshine hours, even though annual rainfall is high.

    Every 3 or 4 days we usually get a burst of rain followed by clear, calm weather. Bring lightweight rain gear and good sturdy shoes/boots if you are keen for an active stay.
